Nurse arrested for having sex with dead corpse

A male nurse at a California hospital was earlier this week arrested for allegedly having sex with a corpse.

Alejandro Lazo, 61, was caught by guards at Sherman Oaks Hospital performing a sexual act on a dead woman. This is also known as necrophilia.

The Los Angeles Police department said that Lazo was arrested on a state Health and Safety Code violation because the body was deceased.

Lazo, of Reseda, was however freed on bail for $20,000. He faces up to three years if convicted.

A neighbor of his said he was a quiet man with a wife and two kids.
